My Lumia 535 sucks!!

I am not very keen tracker of what new mobile phone model has hit the shelf of the nearest outlet or the noisiest e-commerce website. I was using a Nokia Lumia 620 mobile handset, and for some reason it started behaving rather weird. The phone would refuse to charge--i tried all the chargers available at home or office, but the phone would not show a sign of life.

Life without a mobile phone is like a going out on a trip without your wallet--probably a mobile nowadays is more important than a wallet. Though i always wanted to buy a phone with a bigger screen, i thought i can defer the purchase for another 2-3 months if only the dead one can be fixed.

There i was at Noida Sector 18's mobile handset market to get my old phone fixed. The guy, though, fixed one charging problem, he damaged the microphone while repairing the charging port.

So, he asked for another Rs 500 to the fix the new problem. I knew then that it was a time to hunt for a new phone. Immediately, i went to one of the stores and i saw a Microsoft (remember Nokia sold its handset business to Microsoft) Lumia 535 handset. Instantly, i liked the phone--my bias for the Nokia (now microsoft) came to the fore. I also liked the Windows 8 OS more than the Android (surprised??).

I am not the kind who would play games, watch videos or movies in my mobile phone. But I am addicted to twitter, and read a lot of stuff (news, views, books, etc) on mobile phone. So, I chose Lumia 535, which has a 5 inch display, big enough for me to read my daily dose of news, views and other important stuffs.

Features & Price
The phone has 1 GB RAM and 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (good enough for me). It has both back and front cameras (5 MP), good enough for my occasional passion for photography.
It's 8 GB internal memory with expendable outer memory of up to 128 GB sounded impressive.
The best part of the bargain was the price--all the features (as mentioned earlier) and many more in just Rs 8,999. I knew if i buy from Flipkart, i would get a discount of another Rs 500, and so was it. The handset was available at a discount of Rs 500 in Flipkart.

The early warning signs
As the phone was delivered at my office address, my colleagues started to feel the phone even before i could touch it. The phone looked nice, but one of my colleagues (who owns a Rs 18,000 Sony Ericcson handset) immediately said the 'touch' was not good enough. I was too happy to have my new phone to pay hid to his initial response.
Soon I realised the 'touch' was not only 'not good' but was actually too bad. I soon realised that i have bought one of the shittiest phone ever. It is so frustrating to even type a small text message. Sometime i feel like the manufacturer has inadvertently put the feature of 'remote sensing'. You move the fingers over the screen without touching it, and the ‘touch’ get activated.
God knows what a pain it is to control the 'touch' of the phone.
I browsed through some mobile review websites, and realised that the problem is not with my phone but all Lumia 535 phones across the world has problem with its touch screen.
Besides, it doesn't play the videos well. You would realise the sound moves faster the images.
So, there I am...holding a third-grade phone that shows signs of involuntary touch features...probably a revolutionary technology fitted in a wrong gadget.
Microsoft sure has been able to shake off my brand loyalty for Nokia phones. I guess my next phone would not be any Lumia phone...Microsoft you lost a loyal customer.
